Scaffold Set Up
Most chimney repair requires the set up of scaffold towers, around the chimney. Our repair crew is trained for the safe and proper set up of ground and roof scaffolding.
We are required to tie off the scaffolding every 20 feet. The majority of the time we are able to use the chimney to tie off too. In some cases we are required to put ancor bolts into the side of the home to tie off the scaffolding. When setting up roof scaffolding we are required to anchor the scaffolding into the roof. We drill anchor bolts into the roof to secure the scaffold. We are then able to safely erect the tower to the required hight needed to complete the chimney work. 
It is important to know that the safe and proper erection of a scaffold tower takes hours of training. Our repair technicians have been through OSHA training and scaffold set up training. We own all of our scaffold and are able to properly set up a scaffold tower at most homes. The proper set up of scaffold takes between 2 and 4 hours, in most cases. If you were to pay a scaffold company to set up scaffold it most often times runs thousands of dollars. By training our repar crew and owning our own scaffolding we are able to save homeowners thousands of dollars.
